About Seventh-day Adventists

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a vibrant, global faith community with over 19 million members worldwide—including more than a million across North America. At its core, the Adventist Church is all about sharing hope, enhancing lives, and spreading the message that Jesus is coming back soon.

Adventists believe in one God made up of three distinct yet united persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. They believe Jesus made salvation possible when He came to Earth as a baby in Bethlehem, lived a perfect, sinless life, and followed God’s will completely. When Jesus was crucified and rose again three days later, He claimed victory over sin and death—for everyone.

After His resurrection, Jesus returned to heaven, but He didn’t leave us on our own. He sent the Holy Spirit to be our Comforter, Guide, and Counselor. And here’s the amazing part: Jesus promised He’d come back to complete His plan of salvation and take His people home. Adventists eagerly look forward to that day.

But faith isn’t just about waiting—it’s about living well right now. Adventists believe God cares deeply about every part of our lives. The way we eat, speak, think, treat others, and care for the world around us all matter. Our families, friendships, work, talents, money, and time—they’re all gifts from God, and how we use them is part of His bigger plan.

Being an Adventist isn’t just about what you believe—it’s about living with purpose, love, and hope. It’s about building a better world today while looking forward to an even brighter tomorrow.
